Abstract

This research focuses on designing a Methodological Guide for stakeholder management in participatory budgeting projects within local government entities in Colombia. A qualitative descriptive methodological approach was used for the research, which involved defining a sequence of phases. This resulted in a strategic tool that facilitates the systematisation and monitoring of the stakeholder management process within projects that aim to define how public administration resources will be allocated through participatory budgeting. The aim is to strengthen mechanisms for citizen participation in public investment projects.
