The goal of this work is to design and implement a mathematics curriculum in secondary vocational education that integrates essential concepts of actuarial calculation, with the purpose of strengthening students’ skills in probability, statistics, and financial mathematics in a school in the town of Cota, Cundinamarca. The methodology applied is a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques. After the design and implementation of the curriculum and the application of a test to a sample of 50 High School students, it is evident that the curriculum allowed students to develop mathematical competencies applied in contexts of risk and uncertainty, common in actuarial sciences. Among the main contributions of the work, it is found that the curriculum functioned as a tool of pedagogical innovation, awakening interest not only in the students, but also among the teachers, who valued the contribution of this initiative. In addition to constituting pioneering work in the study of the teaching of actuarial concepts at the high school level.
